How long does Valorant’s servers take to come back online.
published in
Ranked games are at the core of the Valorant experience, and naturally, when they’re not available to play, everyone is wondering why is Valorant’s competitive queue disabled. Here’s what we know about the issue, which is currently preventing anyone from playing the game’s competitive mode.
Here’s Why Valorant’s Competitive Queues Are Disabled
Valorant’s Competitive Queues will be down later today while Riot Games uploads the latest update for the game. If you are not up to date, Patch 6.03 is being released now. It’s not a huge update, but there are some notable changes to the agent. For one, Killjoy’s ultimate Lock Down is being nerfed, as is Raze’s Boombot. You can read more here.
What time is the Valorant update
As always, players will not be able to queue for Competitive while this is happening. Just so you know next time, the generic times for each region’s server maintenance during patch deployment are as follows:
Asia Pacific: 2pm PDT
Brazil: 06:00 PDT
Europe: 8pm PDT
Korea: 2pm PDT
Latin America: 06:00 PDT
North America: 6am PDT
if you are wondering what PDT is for your local time, use a converter like this one. Remember, if you are in Europe, Asia or Oceania, the patch deployment will not take place until the next day due to the time zone difference.
How long does Valorant server maintenance last? Answered
When it comes to server maintenance for updates, servers will only be down for a short period of time, not more than three or more hours. Again, though, this latest update is a little bigger than usual, so it might take a little longer – especially if you don’t have an SSD hard drive.
For future reference, in case of a bug, server maintenance may take longer. When the development team encounters unexpected issues after a new patch is released, it can take several hours to fix them.
Typically, if you look at the top left corner of the menu screen when trying to join a competitive lobby, you’ll see a reference to the issue in question. Riot also typically logs issues like this on its Twitter channel, as highlighted above.
